Medical Center Arlington broke ground today on a new freestanding emergency department facility in the heart of Grand Prairie. The facility, which will be located at the intersection of Camp Wisdom Road and Lake Ridge Parkway at 5203 Lake Ridge Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, will provide many of the same services as Medical Center Arlington’s fullservice ER.

 

The planned 13,500 square foot development will feature an emergency department with 12 private, patient-care rooms and will employ 35 full-time nursing and administrative staff. Full-time emergency physician coverage will also be provided through a contract with Questcare Partners. The full-service emergency room will provide daily, around-the-clock emergency care for both pediatric and adult patients. The new facility will offer comprehensive emergency services, including a dedicated trauma room, laboratory and imaging services.

 

The new facility, being developed by Office Equity Solutions, is expected to serve more than 10,000 patients annually. In addition, there will be an adjacent 3000 SF of complimentary medical office space in the building. The facility is expected to open in late 2013.
