Medical Center Arlington Robotics Seminar

Cardiovascular and gynecologic surgeries have changed at MCA, thanks to a state-of-the-art robotic surgical system called the da Vinci Si. This robot is the first of its kind in Tarrant County, and it allows surgeries to be far less invasive, more accurate and less painful. Patients who have surgery using this new system also experience a much shorter recovery period.

This month, we are offering a seminar discussing the benefits of robotic surgery. The community is invited to hear directly from physicians in regard to cardiovascular and gynecologic robotic surgery. The da Vinci Si robot will be on site and, during a hands-on portion of the event, participants will be allowed to test-drive and interact with the robot themselves.

Are you interested in attending? The seminar will take place in the Ballpark in Arlington at the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame on Monday, September 26, 2011. Participants will be allowed to test-drive the da Vinci Si robot between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and the seminar will follow at 6:00 p.m. Please park in Lot B. The Texas Rangers Hall of Fame is located between the Centerfield and First Base entrances.

The seminar is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP to Abbi Miller at 817-472-4944 or email:
